The communists (Democrats) propaganda is definitely trying to convince people Obama has made the country better by spending us into oblivion. At the same time, they are using the word 'austerity' to scare us into not spending. The problem with how they define austerity is saying if the government does not get more money from the people, that is austerity. In fact, stealing more money from the people leaves the people in austerity and the government bloated. Some Times Magazine flak has come out with a book saying printing money and government spending saved us, timed to coincide with the DNC convention saying the same thing. I don't know if our people are stupid enough to buy this garbage, but it is frightening that they might.

Back when he was first elected, Obama uttered the infamous line about how he would be looking at a "one term proposition" if people didn't consider themselves "better off" after three years of an Obama presidency. Now, during the election cycle, it's coming back to haunt him, and his surrogates and aides have given some evasive answers when asked if, in fact, we are better off.

It all started with Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley's awkward flip-flop from yesterday (on Face the Nation: we're not better off, "but that's not the question for this election) to today (in a tweet: We're...
