That back-and-forth between the two at the Healthcare Summit was a turning point for Obamacare. I remember how people were stunned, since they had never seen "The One" get picked apart like that. It was amazing. There was equal time for Obama, the Dems, and the GOP--so, 2-1 advantage for the Dems. And then, Ryan only had part of the GOP time. But in those scant moments, he butchered Obama so cleanly and decisively that a nation of observers sat in stunned silence. This is going to get good.

Update Saturday 6:17 am ET: The Romney campaign has officially announced through a press release that Rep. Paul Ryan of Wisconsin will be Mitt Romney's vice presidential running mate.

Sonic Boom (via NBC News):

Campaign sources indicate that Rep. Paul Ryan of Wisconsin is Mitt Romney's vice presidential pick, NBC News reported Friday night.  Earlier Romney's campaign said in a statement that it would announce a running mate at 9 a.m. ET Saturday morning in Norfolk, Va., just before he begins a four-day bus tour in the battleground state.
