What we need is a black Republican (Col. Allen West?) to run for President. Conservatives would be behind him 1000% and libs would lose their race card. He'd be elected and the black community would have something to be proud of and to erase the memory of Obama. THEN maybe we could really be on the way to being "post-racial".

Allen West of Florida has already said he's joining the Black Caucus, whether they want him or not. I think it's great - providing of course, that he doesn't cross over to the darkside. I think he's going to shake them up so much that they'll want to disband! It would be great if Tim Scott of SC would join too!

When I have questions about the Constitution (mainly because of the 18th century phraseology), I refer to Madison's notes or the Federalist Papers and then I'm clear. I never did find anything In the Constitution that it the Supreme Court's job to "interpret" it.

Barbara, FYI, they are catching on. I was at RightNation2010 in Schaumburg (Chicago), IL last month and "Organizing For America" bussed in a group of protesters. And guess what?? They had handmade signs and carried little American flags! They were trying to look "grassroots" but it backfired - Andrew Breitbart got a hold of them! He asked various signholders questions about their signs and they couldn't answer. It was apparent that the folks holding the signs didn't actually write them!
