No, the GOP are RINOS. The Tea Party are Constitutionalists. Believing in the Constitution, small government and lower taxes.

Right on Pamela! ...And there are a good many of us Tea Party members who are not, and never have been associated in any way with the GOP. (In my case, people like McConnell and Boehner are EXACTLY why i've never been inclined to join the GOP.)

You might remember that in July of 2011, when fighting over the debt ceiling, president Obama- right before he left for his 17th vacation at Martha’s Vineyard that year- complained about congressional inaction by saying that’s it time for the country “to eat its peas.”
