I stand in awe of this kind of convoluted rationale and the black hole of stupidity from which it comes.

Obama and the Shifting Ground of Race

Who was it who said it wasn't about skin color but content of character? Hm, let me think. If our first black president had been Allen West or Herman Cain, I could be justifiably proud, but the black president we elected turned out to be a marxist set on fundamentally transforming an America that does not need fundamental transformation. It's never been about race or even the economy; at all levels of citizenship, it's about the morality, stupid!
Olberman has cornered the market on obliviousness when he defines arrogance with respect to the president's critics. You have to be deliberately stupid not to see Obama for the narcissistic, self-absorbed egoist that he is. If he were not so full of himself he'd be a better listener. He's surrounded himself with sycophants and apologists who either can't see it or are in deep denial.
Brit was asked what advice he would give Tiger Woods, and advice usually comes from personal experience. Brit is a good, decent man, an objective reporter, and a smart commentator. He answered the question sincerely when asked to give his opinion. It wasn't a trick question designed to get Brit in hot water, but it certainly reveals who among listeners were really paying attention to both the question and its context.

Readers should understand it's KEVIN Jennings at the center of this controversy, NOT Ken. They are almost polar opposites. The former is a wacko who deserves the criticism he's getting here. The latter is the thoroughly nice winner of beaucoup bucks on Jeopardy who doesn't deserve to be confused with Obama's safe schools appointee. Talk about oxymorons! Schools would be anything but safe with Kevin in charge.

Yes we can! We can wait as long as it takes for sanity to return to Washington D.C., say the 2010 election...

Brit Hume's Testimony

Brit answered a direct question directly, and he answered out of his own life experience, his own convictions. That's not proselytizing. If you want to place blame, place it with the question because it invited the answer he gave, which was obviously offensive to some. For Christians who are tired of being ridiculed, marginalized and depicted as fanatics, it was refreshing to hear Brit's courageous answer.

Media Starts To Analyze Beck Rally

Pam365 Wrote: Aug 26, 2010 10:11 AM
Beck has said many times that the scheduling of the Restoring Honor event on the anniversary of the I Have A Dream speech came about because A) it fit his own calendar, and B) the mall was available. He didn't even realize when he started making plans for the Restoring Honor rally that it was the anniversary of that speech. There is no theme more appropriate to restoring honor than MLK's statement that people ought to be judged solely on the content of their character. Honor needs to be restored in all of America, but especially in Washington. In Beck's apolitical worldview, character trumps everything else, and that belief resonates with a lot of people now represented by politicians who turned out to be less than honorable.
