The reason 'Pubs lost is because your message sucks. You can't go around saying that Latino voters are all in it for 'freebies from Santa Claus" and blacks are stupid and women "vote with their female parts" and expect to win elections. People are smarter than you think. Try moderating the insanity in your party. You guys look like wackos.

Pablo, would you ever consider voting Republican? Iwould point out to you that the Republican party has more Hispanic congressional representatives than the Democrats. But I agree with you, candidates like Todd Akin or Mourdock are pure suicide for the Republican Party. There were four Senate seats, two in 2010 and two in 2012 we should have won easily and would have controlled the Senate even without irremeidbly left wing Massachusets. But Angle, O'Donnell, Akin and Mourdock were TERRIBLE candidates.
By the way, Akin was NOT the Republican choice. Thousands of Democrats crossed over in the primary and poisoned the well.

The remarks I hear about stupid blacks comes from liberals who vent race hatred against black conservatives like Allen West and Mia Love.
Like I said before, there's no excuse for Republicans not being able to at least split the Hispanic vote with the Democrats and we could wind up with a majority and still be conservative like Marco Rubio.

Look at what happened north of our border. Canada's economy was once anemic with a weak currency. The voted in a conservative (Stephen Harper) and now it's business as usual. He did by controlling spending, lowering taxes, and modifying regulations so businesses would have less burden. Perhaps we should model ourselves with theirs. Our debt is now 61% of GDP. Canadas is aout 36% and we have the highest corporate tax rate of all industrialized countries.....over 39% and your guy wants to raise it higher. Now would you like to re-think who the wackos really are?

You know what, I agree that the repubs suck at messaging - would you agree that what they mean and what is perceived are not the same concepts?

The pundit world will now eviscerate Mitt Romney, a man who, had he garnered just a few hundred thousand more votes in a few key districts, would have been hailed as political genius. Instead, his every fault will be examined, his mistakes magnified and his defeat decreed to be, in retrospect, inevitable.

Romney was not my first choice. I had been hoping for Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels. But in the course of the long campaign, I had come to admire Romney immensely....
