According to the FBI, about half of all violent crime is committed by gangs. In many cities, the figure is closer to 80 or 90 percent. These people are not NRA members, nor are they lawful gun owners. They are criminals. They ignore the mountains of existing gun laws, just as they would ignore any new laws dreamed up by politicians who are ignorant of the facts. The only ones who will be affected are the same ones who obediently comply with existing gun laws.
