As a libertarian on most issues, I agree RINO. Here's a case in point. Gary Johnson, libertarian candidate for Pres, wants DC to trump the states and legalize gay marriage ('marriage equality') for the entire country because it is a 'civil right.' Wouldn't you think a libertarian position would be to allow the states to make these decisions?

Outsider, I think a good many libertarians feel that marriage shouldn't be a function of government at all, but rather that of a contract or religious faith. Either way, it should definitely not be in the purview of the federal government.
