AO, as to the "job creation plummeting", let's just check a fact or two, shall we? For the sake of argument, let's say we have 100% employment. How many new jobs will be created, classifying job creation the way the government does. NONE. No one is unemployed, so no one can BE employed. Now take the 4% unemployment we enjoyed under Bush, and contrast that with the 16-18% (the true, unadjusted numbers) we're presently "enjoying" under Obama. Of course more jobs will be created in this environment! There is a greater need and ability to fill them. Sadly, it's not even enough to keep up with the growing workforce....
If you raise taxes, you will get fewer transactions. It's a fact; tax something you want less of (hence the huge tobacco tax), subsidize something you want more of. Fewer transactions, even at a larger income per transaction, leads to deficits. However, if you lower taxes, you get more transactions, usually exponentially more transactions. So, although you are getting less per transaction, this is offset by the huge number of transactions. Look at it this way: selling lemonade for $5 a glass, you only have to sell one glass. But the guy selling it for $.50 a glass will far outsell you, making much more profit by the end of the day. Pretty simple, huh?
AmericanObserver Wrote: 3 minutes ago (3:19 PM) Hey, genius, every economist (as opposed to the right wing clowns you read) will tell you that government budgets and household budgets are NOT the same thing....and are not even intended to be the same. No, they are not the same, yet they are similar. If you could help increase your income by passing regulations that would increase the number of people working, why wouldn't you pass those regulations? The government gets money (tax revenue) every time money changes hands. (cont.)

tuttut, there IS such a thing as a "Noble Lie", but it refers to protecting the innocent from evil by lying. For instance, people break in to my house, threatening us with murder, and ask "Is anyone else here?" Even though my daughter and grandsons are in the back room, hiding, I will not tell the truth, but lie like a rug to protect them. Liberals like to think that any lie that protects a Democrat from exposure to the truth is "noble".... sadly....

What is it that we've been saying? Once the objective has been achieved, one can start to get rid of the useful idiots who helped get you there.... Birds coming home to roost, and the MSM doesn't know what to think!
True gun control - a 3-shot grouping from 200 yards that can be covered by a quarter. Now THAT'S gun control!
Oh! Oh! I know! I know! Pick me! Pick me! It's any war that the Democrat politicians put so many restrictions on the military that they have no chance of winning. If it looks like they are about to win, more restrictions and withdrawals are added until it once more becomes unwinnable.
Wow, li'l Allie! Rehab put a lot of venom in you! And here I thought the program was supposed to DE-toxify you! Just because you wanted your 10 minutes with Slick Willie, and he turned you down, is no reason to sit and stew about for this many years. Put it behind you, child! Move on with your life!

But Mr. Gonzalez, there were no points to debate. You only stated that "something" was telling you things. Again, you should really take your meds.

Yeah, just ignore Edward327's comment about what is on the Lumberton ISD website page. And ignore the whole "freedom fighter" thing. That's what progs do best: ignore facts, create strawment, and focus their efforts only on making up things that others are supposed to have said and refuting them. "Oh, yeah? Well, the burqas were the wrong color, anyway! And were missing some key pieces, so they weren't really burqas! So there!" *totally ignoring any other facts in the matter.....

I'm not sure if you should be telling us about the voices in your head.... You really should take ALL of your medications, even the red ones. I know you don't like the red ones, but if you shut your eyes and tell yourself they're really blue, you will be able to take them easily. So go on, now, go take your meds, jgonzalez, and lie down for a bit. You'll feel better for it, and so will we.
