The government doesn't need to re-invent the wheel, simply purchase the boxes already being made up by the Mid-America Foods program! Purchase 4 boxes of food a month for a family of 4, and it costs $120. Save a ridiculous amount of money doing it. Win-win, right?

Are Food Stamps Just a Modern Day Soup Kitchen? That's the argument being made by liberal economist and New York Times Columnist Paul Krugman, the guy wanted to replace Timothy Geithner as Treasury Secretary.
