Mo: "Jack, you really should lay off the drugs. NEWS CORP ISN'T GOING ANYWHERE." I don't know what's going to happen; this scandal is only in its early stages. It is entirely possible that the death of the whistle-blower could be determined to be a murder, and that someone might roll on Murdoch. I don't have a crystal ball, and neither do you. However, I do know that I am going somewhere in the very near future and accordingly, I will bid you adieu.
It's our duty under international law to charge him -- but law doesn't matter to people who are above and beyond the law. So much for the concept of America.
The FCPA holds the corporation responsible for the acts of its agents. What Murdoch knew personally is not germane.
SFA: "You are aware that the Sugar Daddy of many leftwing media sources, George Soros, is a convicted felon." Didn't know he was applying for a broadcast license.
And the Saudi royal family's influence will protect Murdoch's enterprise? Gotcha.
Elizabeth: "No evidence whatsoever that Mr. Murdoch is guilty or complicit in any way, shape or form for the wrongdoings within a small group of his employees" He is, however, responsible as CEO for his organization's violations of the FCPA. And as it is in a very real sense HIS company, he is going to be facing the music in that capacity.
No, but his admissions (on behalf of the corporation) do.
The FCPA applies, dimwit. Charges should be filed in due course, in light of the admissions in question.
Okay, for sake of precision, the corporation's broadcast licenses are in jeopardy, and probably should be yanked.
SFA: "What about the duty of the President and the Ag to insure that criminals don't get weapons?" What about it? If a crime has been committed, then by all means, let's prosecute. And while we are at it, let's go after Bush #43 for war crimes. At least, I am consistent.
