Since our founders studied history, they noticed that pure democracies always destroyed themselves by the public voting themselves money/benefits from the public treasury. In other words, pure democracies allowed government to steal via a majority vote. And instead of protecting their freedoms, majorities voted away freedoms to facilitate government theft to pay for their redistribution. But in such situaitons, people quit producing because the fruits of their efforts were taken by the government. Such is the transition of government from protector to criminal, and the death of the government.

But how can we be sure that constitutional and conservative candidate can't win? We haven't had TRUE conservative candidates, ever, not even Reagan.
