Ann is probably right but conservatives have too many things working against them, and the country itself... - The media is corrupt and progressive - As Ann herself stated in so many words...women vote based upon emotions and not rational thought (a generalization) - Democrats have a lock on entitlement voters and they create more every day with handouts - Democrat voters are either plain stupid or have no interest in educating themselves on issues that affect the country and the people. - Taxpaying voters are far less motivated to vote (inexplicable) than entitlement voters That is how Democrats win elections. I agree with Ann that it's better to do nothing to legalize illegal aliens. At least then most of them will not be able to vote

you know, i can clearly recall the incredible overnight changes reagan made on this country after the bungling lefty carter. during the reagan era i would've never been convinced the nation could possibly swing back to hardcore leftyism... how could it when reagan had the midas touch?

but here we are, democrats have the repubs/conservativism in an ironclad headlock and they have us on the verge of blacking out... but we have one ace left up our conservative sleeves: history has proven that collectivism will always fail and produce absolute misery; it's just a matter of magnitude on the misery and i think obamboozle and co will take the pain to new lows.

obamboozle's brand of leftism WILL produce misery and we'll get another chance!

The only thing stopping conservatives is the gang of weenie RINO moderates in the House, led by John Boehner.

Boehner recently admitted what conservatives have known all along; that Obama played him for a chump on all of these continuing resolution deals. But will Boehner put that realization to use? Will he suddenly grow a pair and use the GOP majority in thge House to stop Obama's destructive agenda? Not likely.

The GOP win the House in the last election. All they have to do is pursue the conservative agenda; on taxes, regulation, immigration, budget, the works. The Democrats are totally dependent on big gov't spending to stay in power, and the GOP controls the purse strings. Cut them off. No amnesty. No more irresponsible spending

Boehner was not played for a chump, he IS a chump. Your solution is correct and is simplicity itself. Cut them off, that's it!

Apart from finding out that Barack Obama did far worse in his re-election than nearly any other incumbent who won re-election, the only thing that perked me up after Nov. 6 was coming across a Time magazine published after the 2004 election, when George W. Bush won a second term.

In the mirror image of all the 2012 post-election analyses, the Democrats were said to be finished, out of ideas, hopelessly unpopular. It's like watching MSNBC, with the word "Democrats" replaced with "Republicans."

Democrats had thrown everything they had into beating Bush, crushing the Howard Dean wing of...
