Beck is getting close to the real issue; we need a revival - a true spiritual sea change.

They should think twice before going into law - there are a lot of lawyers out of work.
Good news, indeed. But pride goes before a fall, don't count your chickens, etc. Let's not get smug; too much at stake.

At Last, the Season of Hope

The hope of the season is this: "But to all who did receive him, who put their trust in his person and power, he gave the right to become children of God, not because of bloodline, physical impulse or human intention, but because of God." The King of the Jews died to bring life to the world; we are God's "chosen" in him. And our Dad wants His children to truly love each other.
"The stupidest thing we can do economically is make them leave. We don't have anybody to replace them," said Barbour, referring to the estimated 11 million immigrants who are in the country without legal documentation. Oh, Mr. Barbour, we'll have plenty of people to replace them, if we give them amnesty. They will be out of work and on welfare, and we will import a new crop to work "off the books".
"Are any of the 7 million Californians who voted for Prop 8 employable...?" NO! Anyone who says two men (or two women) cannot marry should be on the streets! Wait! That would include Mr. Obama. Oh, well. It's the price we must pay for fairness.

And, if we make them legal, "we" will have to import new illegals for off-the-books labor, while the current group is priced out of the job market and collects welfare checks.
"Other proposals include creating incentives for people to open health savings accounts, allowing individuals to purchase health insurance across state lines and implementing tort reforms to reduce costs for doctors." I hope, hope Jindal runs. No more wishy-washy half-democrats, please.
The Republican Party needs to stand up for the weak, against those who want their own way at the expense of the weak. This includes babies, against those who advocate allowing a baby to die if they are born after a botched abortion. This also includes children, who need to see adults standing up for their interests, instead of suggesting that they are "haters" for preferring to live with their own Mom and Dad.
