I'm not as sure that universal background checks won't be passed. That wil enable back-door registration - which will enable confiscation, like such always does.

You might check exactly what the UN's Small Arms Treaty is all about - the treaty that Obama has been trying to get passed so the senate can vote to support it. Obama's signature and no more 2nd Amendment!

Americans are concerned! A weekend gun show in Tucson Arizona had more customers than anyne could remember: two hours in line to buy a ticket and get through the door; a mob surrounding the Ammunition section was causing a three hour wait to get to the counter. When Obama's QE forces world markets to stop lending us money (the more money that's printed the less it's worth) the proverbial is going to hit the rotating device. The cost of food is already going up and when our money becomes worthless, keeping what you have ay require more than kind words.
While gun and ammunition sales are at record highs. Then again, Feds in all agencies and departments with badges have been buying tons of hollow-point ammo - and that's not what they use for practice.
If memory serves, that IS how the 4004BC age of the earth was wrested from the Bible. Many Christians embraced the result.
hadith Bukhari, vol. 8, book 73, no. 73 - (Mohammed) “A Muslim who swears a false oath by the god of another religion is not obligated to fulfill that promise because he cannot be bound by a faith he does not hold.” Now you know.
Francis Bacon: “A little knowledge of science makes man an atheist, but an in-depth study of science makes him a believer in God." But consider Francois Voltaire: “Doubt is not a pleasant condition, but certainty is absurd.,” from the Vero Beach, Press Journal, and: “If God created us in his own image, we have more than reciprocated.” Is it God or man who dreams of being feared and worshipped by such as we? Namaste.
God is here for all who are unafraid to experience the reality. Getting used to that sense of humor, however, may take some effort. One word says it all: Namaste!
Science: is built on two pillars of unprovable faith; first that the Universe, or at least our corner of it, operates on consistent principles and second; that the human mind is capable, at least in part, of comprehending those principles. And even if those principles change as the Universe evolves/ages/changes, the human mind can deal with it. If either of those assumptions are denied, as Islam believes, we can't have science. Once we accept these two pillars, we can measure and experiment and calculate and theorize. And even if nothing more than statistical averaging; it seems to work. Atheists witlessly pitting their "faith" against others is absurd!
