No Reservations: The Case for Dismantling the Indian Bureaucracy

The BIA has made life difficult for a lot of Native Americans. Currently they are helping the Pechanga Band of Luiseno Indians with water rights, yet had paid no attention to their trust responsibilities for reservatin allottee who have a right to negotiate for their water rights. The Pechanga Tribe eliminated 25% of their tribe to steal per capita payments, and the eliminated health care for 25% of their people tool. Yet, over 175 people they eliminated have land rights on the reservation, from an ORIGINAL PECHANGA PERSON. The BIA held negotiations without us, and almost let the tribe negotiate FOR US.
