The number of scientists and engineers in the dreaded private sector of the 1960's and 1970's outnumbered NASA's scientists and engineers by at least a factor of a hundred to one. Large companies like IBM, TI, Motorola, Cray, H-P, DEC, National Semiconductor, Univac, Sperry, Honeywell, Intel, Wang Labs, Fairchild, AMD and on and on and on. How about the thousands of small American companies that we never heard of? How about foreign companies like Toshiba, Sony, Fuji, NEC, Samsung and Siemens to name a few? What is NASA other than a BIG government, centrally planned, bureaucratic Soviet-style business model where the Goob-mint owns the means of research and development?
What these Republicans will never tell you is that they have a slobbering love affair with BIG government when it suits them. (do we need to talk about farm subsidies?) Let's just say NO to the Republican philosophy of 'Big government for me, and little government for you!' Just say NO to the Republican fantasy-boondoggle of a Moon Colony. Just say no to a human expedition to Mars. The sooner these Republicans are swept into the proverbial dung heap of history, the better for those evil-doing Neo-Marxists.

Let's talk about NASA, moon colonies and Neo-Marxists. You card-carrying Republicans pay close attention! Many of the card-carrying Republicans that troll here are Marxists. Please, let me explain. Marxism was defined in the industrial age as 'the government owns the means of production.' Today, we live in a post-industrial age where science, technology, information and engineering play a much bigger role in the economy than industrial production. Many of these Neo-Marxists will say something like, "You can thank the Apollo program and NASA for giving us all the technology we enjoy today. I say, these people are residents of the Kingdom of Morondom. These people are Neo-Marxists.

Now, folks, just how many bills did any Republican senator write while Harry Reid was Senate Majority Leader, Nancy Pelosi was Speaker of the House and Obama was president??? Is this another example of a Republican showing that a core value of theirs is taking RESPONSIBILITY?
