I don't think one person here has advocated for Crony Capitalism. That is not the way to run a country. Look closely and you will see that Obama is doing this. His buddy at GE and Google get by without paying tax. See how that works for you.

As soon as you let the government decide who gets to keep how much of their earnings, you start down the road to what we have now. jsullivan seems to think that any business or someone who has a dollar more than he does is somehow not worthy or too stupid to keep it. So him and many of the other 47% voted for Obama to steal it. Yes, that is right steal it. Just because the government doesn't doesn't change the fact. It is theft. The rule of law means very little to jsullivan, Obama and his minions.

The Tea Party didn't squander its political capital; the GOP LEADERS are the ones who squandered the Tea Party's positions. They actively fought against the Tea Party in several elections. The GOP is still busy shooting themselves in the foot. They are the ones making sure that the Dem's continue to win elections.

If you are interested in stopping the killing, lets ban automobiles. They kill many more people than guns. Cigarettes as well. They kill and serve no useful purpose. And steak knives. Yes, Dr Sowell's book, "Basic Economics". This book should be required reading in high school. The book is very easy to read without lots of formulas and charts. BTW, if you haven't read it, I would recommend it to you as well.
