I never spent a day in college. Instead I learned a trade (plumber). After spending 5 years working for somebody else and learning all I could about the business and getting a Master Plumbers License. I started my own plumbing business and ran it successfully for 27 years. 2 years ago I sold that business and made enough to comfortably retire on. The average licensed plumber will make about 75-95k a year with benefits. Something to think about
