Georgetwin the administration themselves admitted that the carrier was well within copter range. There was NO reason for Bush to make the appearance that he did other than to bathe himself in the reflected glory of the troops.

If you are bathing in reflected glory, the glory comes from elsewhere. That is the lesson Obama needs to be taught.

Veterans for a Strong America, a non-partisan veteran and military support group, is hitting President Obama for "spiking the football" on the one year anniversary of Osama bin Laden's death. The group has published an advertisement showing Obama taking all the credit for the bin Laden killing while explaining that "real heroes don't take credit."
