The 'moderators' an network affiliation:: 1st Presidential: Jim Lehrer - PBS Vice-Presidential: Martha Raddatz - ABC 2nd Presidential: Candy Crowley - CNN 3rd Presidential: Bob Schieffer - CBS Now keep in mind that in general, Mr. Lehrer actually conducted himself as a proper 'moderator' while Ms. Raddatz and Ms. Crowley deinitely showed their 'preferences' and Ms. Raddatz acaully seeming to be Mr. Obama's 'tag team debater'. As a result, Mr. Lehrer was excoriated in the liberal media whils the 'ladies' were praised. And it seemsthat those same 'fair minded' liberal pundits are ALREADY criticizing Mr. Schieffer because of his age, but I think they might fear that he too might prove to generally be an unbiased moderator.
