There is a REASON for the explosion of home schooling! Parents find themselves up against a bureaucratic brick wall, when trying to effect change. It's sad. Take a step back and look at what's happening to our country. The glue which has united us, common goals and ideals......shared experience, is coming apart. Religious belief and practice has declined. The traditional family has been redefined. There is no military draft. We don't have to show up to vote on Election day. Public schooling is the last institution, which should glue us together as Americans, but it has become politicized, propagandized, Balkanized,. Parents are taking their children and fleeing. We are not united as a people. Sad.
