"It's really sad that the richest, most powerful and free country in the world has been brought to it's knees by a small group of liberals hellbent on socializing America.", from a previous post. Please remember, a majority of the citizens of this once great Republic voted for exactly what we are getting. Recognize, that what many of us think is the coming demise of the free market, capitalist system is exactly what the majority really desire. Accept the fact that, it is not only Obama and his cadre who detest the foundation upon which this nation was built, but a growing majority of our fellow citizens who share in that hate and see the America WE love as an imperialist, mean spirited and "unfair" place that needs to be TRANSFORMED

The only way that became possible is through the dumbing down of the populace through poor "education", moral relativity, secularization, and an eroded culture via media.

C’mon give Maher some credit here: he’s not afraid to show his true colors. Even most liberals I know feel uncomfortable talking about Jimmy Carter's achievements, let alone bragging about his legacy, preferring instead to reminisce about “Camelot” or the New Deal.

Nice catch, NewsBusters (warning explicit language):

America needs to start defining peace as strength. Do you know who the role model for every president should be? Jimmy Carter. Because he is the one out of all of them who figured out how to sit in office...
