For me, as a Christian, it is annoying that there are, probably, a few porn shops or places that are sewers, by Judeo-Christian Ethics, in the towns where the self-righteous Mayors hold sway. They look the other way, perhaps, since they do not want Religious sensibilities impinging on the Liberty we are all guaranteed. Here is where I see yawning hypocrisy, as some devout Mormon, Jewish, Moslem or Christian Mayor would have to infringe on the Civil Liberties, our Bill of Rights guarantees, if they refused to tolerate the establishments pandering to perverts and porn addicts.

Since I’ve already written that polygamy – regardless of how weird it is – is not something that demands government intervention, you won’t be surprised that I also think that gay marriage is a non-issue.

I don’t care if two guys want to get together. I don’t care if some religion (or some other group) wants to sanction their union, and I don’t care if they want to call it marriage, or make up some new word.

But I also don’t care if some churches don’t want to sanction same-sex unions. And I don’t care if some religious people don’t...
