For me at least, it is not a Team Red vs Team Blue thing. False Dychotomies are still false. Both parties have their big share of the blame for what is happening on this country. The Repubs had the majorities on BOTH HOUSES and the presidency for 4 years. Did they cut any spending? NO. Did they get rid of regulations? NO, in fact, Bush hired 90 more regulators during his first term and the Federal Registry ballooned under him. Did they get rid of the Dept of Education? NO. Welfare reform? NO.

Ron Paul Says Goodbye

Presidential candidate and long time Representative Ron Paul said goodbye yesterday on the House floor as he prepares to make his exit from Congress after 23 years. He explained his consistent views throughout the past two decades and berated Washington for refusing to change or make hard decisions when it comes to the future.
