Re: Troy152, -- Romney lost because of voter fraud -- Stop kidding yourself. He lost because he was a weak candidate who received a lot of money from rich donors to keep him in the primary race. This is the man that lost to "Pasty Face" McCain in 2008. Face it: The GOP only pays lip service to such fundamental principles as small government and free markets. It is LOUSY at espousing these ideas because most GOP politicians simply do not believe in them, which is why they can be suckered into such facile bromides as "compassionate conservative" People do believe that the GOP is the party of big capitalists and Wallstreet, and they would be right. So are the Dems, but they can hide this fact better than the GOPers.

i'ts disgusting to listen to republicans whine about the entitlement mentality of democrats when the republicans have teamed up with the democrats to give us the huge unconstitutional entitlement system.
"What the president's campaign did was focus on certain members of his base coalition, give them extraordinary financial gifts from the government and then work very aggressively to turn them out to vote, and that strategy worked."

Thus did political analyst Mitt Romney identify the cause of his defeat in a call to disconsolate contributors.

Republicans piled on. "Completely unhelpful," Gov. Bobby Jindal told Wolf Blitzer. We don't advance the "debate by insulting folks."

"A terrible thing to say," Chris Christie told Joe Scarborough. "You can't expect to be the leader of all the people and be divisive."

Oh. Was not...
