OK, $4 for $1 still leaves the govt about $400B short of balance. BTW, gwb's largest deficit (2004) was $413B. What does this tell us? The dems really believe deficits don't matter. Anybody ready (in 10-15 years) to visit Yellowstone Park brought to you by Microsoft (selling naming rights may be one way out of the deficit, if we are not all willing to see all the gwb tax rates to expire).

Profoundly irresponsible?  Of course.  Politically insane?  Not really.  I'll expound on the second point in a moment, but first, let's survey the brazen talk from Team Blue -- with massive, recession-inducing tax hikes hanging in the balance.  Our new friend Patty Murray is at the front of the line:
