Ms Feinstein really showed her ignorance ogf the constitution. She resorted to the canard of prohibition of child porn as an exception to the first amendment. Firstly, while adult porn is a first amendment issue- child porn is not. It is a crime with a victim, ie a child who is not of legal age to consent to such exploitation. But if we stipulate that it is a first amendment issue, the original intent of the founders probably did not even consider such an abhorrent act, nor did the technology exist to produce it. So the prohibition of it does not violate the original intent.
