I live in central Florida. I can not begin to tell you the number of local (Orlando) news stories I have seen on TV where people returned home after vacations to find that someone had been living in their house. Some even found total strangers living in their house which someone had rented to them. This event has nothing to do with race or sloppy police work, it has to do with real life situations and the police doing their job. I doubt very seriously if Cambridge police officers know everyone in town and where they live.
