Wake Up! Our Freedom Is in Jeopardy

Another great commentary on the differences between democracy (mob rule), and a republic (rule of law). Rights granted by men can be taken away, rights granted by the Creator can not. The incremental way that liberal-progressives erode our most basic freedoms is frightening. Keep up the fight America!

Mr. Santorum, after the BATF with F&F, the Arab spring and its aftermath, the DHS purchase of ammo and armored vechicles, the DOJ selectively enforcing laws (DOMA, election laws, etc.), ICE releasing thousands of prisoners, the IRS abuse, the murder of American citizens by drone, and now the attack on the first amendment, when does all this rise to the point of Treason? I took an Oath to protect and defend the Constitution. So did you.
Great interview. Hey brother Mike, what do you think of a '59 Toploader?

"I had barely left the stage at CPAC when Republicans did the exact thing I told them not to do." #1. Republicans and Conservatives at not the same thing. We have less in common everyday. #2. The Tea Party does a better job of articulating conservative values. #3. Karl Rove, Newt Gingrich et al. are a major handicap to what remains of the Republican party. #4. I for one, and I think many others here, don't really care anymore what you have to say Ann. #5. We will prevail, even if we have to start a new party . One that we can trust.
I'm sorry, I must have not have made my point well. More than a few of my students were under the impression that by merely having the pistol on their person it would prevent bad things from happening. At worse they may have to "brandish it" or threaten to use it. My goal was to weed out those who would be unable or unwilling to defend themselves or others, by having them imagine the consequences of killing. If they could not decide that at some point they could take a life, I would suggest an alternative to a hand gun. The point was that a hand gun is defensive only if you are willing to use it before they can hurt you or someone else. Many people don't have a problem with it. Many don't think it through and my job was to make sure...
We could cut gun violence by 90%+ easily. At their release from prison, every felon would be video taped being told all of the rights they have lost. Posession of a firearm by that felon after that, along with the tape proving that they knew they had lost that right, would be an automatic death penalty. No appeals.
Actually, I hate to admit it, but he had a point. When I was a firearms instructor, I would point out to the students that a firearm is not a defensive object. The mere possesion of one will not keep you safe. It is the willingness to use it in a timely, effective, and offensive manner that will. The object was to get them to come to terms with the aftermath of having to use it, and decide beforehand exactly what would be worth killing for. I did not teach them to shoot to wound.

Please go look up the circumstances surrounding the death of John Noveske after posting on Facebook a list of shootings linked to psycotropic drugs.
To obtain an instant boost in academic achievement, simply lower the standards. The poor state of public education in the US is not by accident but rather by design and the result is on display here ( go look at comments by posters like Allison). My son is a teacher, and is in a constant battle with administration over standards in the classroom. The curriculum is distorted, the pace set by the slowest student, and the lowest grade he can give is 60%. For zero work. Future dimocrats in training.
It is a short step from some humans can be killed to some humans should be killed.
