I actually do think there is a simple solution that might help. Every classroom should have a second exit door. These kids were trapped with no way out.

I have never been one to defend Obama. But at this extremely mournful time in our country. We would be better off discussing ways to prevent this from ever happening again. We need to come together with solutions.

I think I have a very simple solution to making schools safer from this kind of attack. Put an exit door in every classroom. It could be always locked and in case of emergency there would be 2 master switch's available. 1 in the princples office and another for the classroom teachers to open the doors. These kids were trapped with no way out.

I once had a crazy neighbor whom we thought was dangerous. She had threatened several people. I organized the neighbors and we went to court to have her committed. It was a long process. But we got it done. She was a threat to others and herself. Too many people just look the other way. I am not making excuses for this man. But if his family and friends did nothing to protect others ? They must share the blame.

She is right. Let them own this economy. They are going to get the tax hikes anyway. Americans are like drug addicts with all the free government programs. We need to hit bottom.

I'm in Chicago and the northern geese are everywhere. They are all close to the Chicago River. Just so happens many of the public housing projects are close to the river. I often wonder why the residence didn't just kill the geese for dinner. I know it's illegal. But illegal has never seemed to bother them. Then I figured out it would be too much work. Better to just go to the local alderman for your free turkey for voting democrat.
