The difference between abortion and the social justice agenda is that the right to life is actually stated in the Constitution, and cannot be taken without due process of law. Liberals try to rely on the phrase "promote the general welfare" as authorizing any type of charitable assistance to the needy, Opposition to most abortions is not merely a Catholic doctrine being imposed on others, it is part of the fundamental principal of civilization--not killing innocent human beings--which has been discarded. Catholics are not trying to ban divorce, birth control or meat-eating on fridays of Lent, and those opposed to abortion come from many faith traditions as well as non-believers.

Apparently, Paul Ryan and Joe Biden are both theocrats willing, nay eager, to use state power to impose their religious views on the rest of us.
