Why not be cocky? As I keep reminding everyone, he won! And he does not need to run for reelection. But if he wants to stay in power beyond the next 4 years, he has to get the people used to his leadership. So it behooves the republicans to toe the line and follow along with what Obama dictates to them. This is Obama's era. It is up to the people to adapt and get used to having a strong central leader as President. To refuse to see this will condemn those who oppose him into very dire times indeed.
