O-Drama....Not hardly! Ebonics is a "variation" of English entirely made up of slang. A few year back, a group of Black schoolers attempted to justify the fact that many Negros, (especially those from the South) could not pronounce English words properly. So this "educated" group decided to take parts of real words, "Ebony" (meaning black) and "Phonics" and create a new word 'Ebonoics' then tried to convince the world that this a true langauge and part of the black culture that should be respected..

The whole country could be speaking Koine Greek with a Syriac Aramaic accent, or Proto-Athabaskan, for that matter, for all the difference it'd make to black outcomes in the Great Society and welfare state.
