Petey all you care about is "Getting Even" "Teaching Obama a Lesson" All you and your ilk are looking for is the equivalent of a barroom brawl or schoolyard fight. You want someone to "Put Obama in His Place" and then you want to complain when you're all called racists. Rom is not qualified to lead this country, which is already greatly polarized. What do think he should do? Act like a Dictator and quash the 47% that he hates? How will he unite the country -- by beating up the poor and disabled because they get in his way. Republicans are behaving like idiots -- so caught up in their own anger as the world passes them by that they can't even think clearly any longer.
Again with the "Jacobins?" Did you just now find out what that means, so you childishly use it in every post? The Idiotic notion that the election is about "Giving his a lesson in Manhood" is why you folks are ridiculed all the time by the Media. This isn't some schoolyard squabble -- and Rom is no more "fine and upstanding" than you are. That's what the Far Right cares about -- Showing the Black Guy Who's Boss. It's as clear as day what you think is valuable, but it's not even close to what Americans want.

LOL! Nice going, Petey -- looks like you're running on empty. Here's the deal: Rom may win, but I don't think so. He got all aggressive and mouthy and that appeals to the angry, rightwingers who somehow think that this multi-millionaire is on their side, understands their battles and will work for them. Rom convinced some dopes that by yelling at Obama, Rom is better than him and by fiat, YOU are better than the Black Guy in The White House. Good Luck with that, Pal.
Don't give me that "Jacobin" S hiit. LOL! Did you read that somewhere Petey, and now you're going to use it in every post? It doesn't mean anything -- he's a phucking billionaire -- it's nice that he gives so much to charity, but it doesn't mean he's qualified to run the country.
Oh Come on Mac -- Rom said he would "repeal Obamacare on Day 1 of his presidency" Then he says, "well there are parts of it that are valuable that I would keep" Rom screeched about "overpaid teachers" then bullshitted about how important they are. He's on tape touting a woman's 'right to choose" now to appease the rightwing, he's "against abortion" And let's not forget the famous 47% Rom is just flopping all over the place trying to be all things to all Repubs. Maybe it will work, probably not, but there's no way you can say that Rom doesn't lie
That's nice. What does it show? Romney has been a millionaire his entire life -- is that really criteria for anything?
Carol stop with the Trailer Trash Screeching. If you're so sure that Romney is looking out for your sorry butt -- fine -- you don't need to constantly try to convince yourself of that by screaming your juvenile insults all the time. You're so sure that he's right and you're right and everyone else is wrong? Good -- then there's no need for you to be here -- if you are incapable of listening to another opinion, then go back to your beer and Cheetos and let other people discuss.
It's unfortunately not enough to help people one at a time. It's a good thing to do, and philosophically you can make the nice pat statement that he helps America one person at a time, but realistically, it's not enough. If Rom is elected, there's a danger of the middle class dissolving and we'll become a country of the wealthy entitled and the poor underclass, much like many of the governments that you all claim to despise. It's easy to shriek and holler about taxes, but not so much fun when you don't have the daily things you've become accustomed to. Most people know that. There's a reason for the verse: "It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of the needle, than for a rich man to get into heaven."
Nah -- he's a rich kid, son of a politician who led an easy, sheltered, economically problem-free existence. In all fairness, Romney is probably a decent guy and yes, he's a lot more intelligent than Bush is or Reagan was, but one loud-mouth talking-over-and-insulting-the-moderator's role debate probably won't result in victory. But that comment about the 47% will come back to haunt him -- Big Time, I predict. You realize that now that it's "Game On," Team Obama will counter-punch, and that coupled with the latest job report will probably seal the deal for Obama Part 2.
