Piers Morgan is just another self absorbed liberal. Nothing really new here. It is certainly not news worthy except to point out that the conservative position is correct. Depending on police to keep you alive in the event of a break-in is foolish at best, suicidal at worst.

Not maybe. No maybe about it.

Once a criminal breaks in, half the police's job has already failed. Police presence not a deterrent.
Patrolling failed. The criminal felt they were in a cop free zone.

There's no middle ground here. People's homes are not the police station or the back seat of a squad car.
