Unfortunately, for debates to be affective they have to be televised. They also have to have both sides participate. The airways are primarily owned by the left. The lefty candidate will not go on a conservative or even perceived conservative network. So, we are left (no pun intended) with left wing commentators. On the other hand, Romney did quite well and this became practice for Debate #3.
