Berkeley Does Guantanamo

How's this for an idea? Send the nut cases in Berkley to Gitmo where they can mingle with the detainees to their hearts' content. Or better yet, send them to Pakistan and release them in the northwest areas where the tribal elders are supporting the Talibal and Al Queda (sorry, my spelling skills do not extend to the middle eastern languages). The Berkley idiots are truly exemplars of Kruschev's "useful idiots."
I am perplexed and dismayed at the failure of the DOE and private enterprise to recognize and encourage the use of clean, nonpoluting, free and everlasting energy sources. Namely the ocean currents like the Gulf Stream and others. Turbines suspended near the ocean floor where these currents flow would provide that electrical energy in perpetuity and go a very long way in stopping air and water polution and reducing our addiction to foreign oil. Has anyone else heard about this manner of providing enough electricity to sustain our nation essentially forever? The only impediments I see to this approach is environmentalists who will decry the extinction of the left handed one eyed clam, and the coal and oil industries that will have to...

2012 Republican Primary Prognostication

Jackie: Your father is the only potential candidate who, in my opinion, has the essential qualities to be elected. Like the intellect, the ideas, the ability to explain what is wrong and the solution without sounding didactic (Reagan had that quality, too), the experience and the will to make it happen. He will also need conservative Republicans in congress, so that will be a challenge, too. Of course the media will try to disembowel him, but he has demonstrated that he can give as good as he gets. The others might have some things to recommend them, but I see none who have all the things your dad does. Some say your dad has too much baggage. Consider "I didn't have relations with that woman" Clinton (maybe it was just with her little...

America, the Crab Bucket

NUTNFINR3 Wrote: Dec 17, 2010 9:47 AM
Eugene @ 0715: If you "axe" me, you are looking through the wrong end of the telescope. You assert that the one crab that climbs out of the bucket then sells the remainder to the seafood restaurant. WRONG! What happens is that the the no-labels/progressive/liberal/socialist/Marxist crowd removes from the remainder any incentive to climb out of the bucket themselves. That is easily accomplished with food stamps, welfare checks, WIC, subsidized housing, medicade and the myriad of other 'feel-good' programs. When one takes away incentive--read motivation--the remainder won't (not can't) try. And all this cruelty to the remainder by the crowd mentioned above is accompanied by the "hate the rich" message. Instead of gratitude for the...
"The blame does not lie with government nor unions." Sorry Tibby, but they are to blame. A contributing factor is the 'useful idiots' who vote for the tax and spend democrats. (Sorry, I just can't bring myself to capitalize that word.) And the real screwees are the children who leave school without the knowledge and skills to survice in the real world. They do have the entitlement mentality that their teachers had, though. One way to solve this problem is a Constitutional amendment that prohibits unionization of any employee anywhere that receives tax money at any level. If they want to suck at the government teat, they would do so on their own.

Is America Only for White People?

Allison: I mourn the fact that your soul is so poisoned with hate. That hate is based on some sort of warped world view that posits that conservatives are evil (add here any number of invectives) and hate Black people. And the counterpoint to that, in your addled mind, is that you have the pure (no pun intended) lilly white high ground of sensitivity and empathy. Sorry, lady, but you are coming from a diseased place where twisted minds see things through fun house glass. To you and those who hold your views the world is a distortion of your pristine utopia. The truth is that glass is a mirror that distorts yourself. There is no utopia in this world. Every person has to create the opportunities to which they aspire. One cannot sit in...

Our Clueless Professor

Jimp: You are one of the useful fidiots. New word folks, combination of fool and idiot. Obamunist is the rotten apple in the barrel who is doing his best to disassemble the greatest nation on this planet. He righteously opines that Muslims have the right to build the mosque near ground zero, saying that is what America is about. This while he is doing his best fundamentally to change what America is about. It as been said that Obamunist being president is not the most frightening thing. The most frightening thing is that America has enough useful fidiots to elect him. And it appears that you might be one of them.

Giving Birth to Immigration Fears

NUTNFINR3 Wrote: Aug 15, 2010 10:16 AM
How about this? Arizona should pass a law that copies Mexico's immigration laws word for word. Then turn all arrested illegals over to Sheriff Joe Arpiao for a year (1st offense), 3 years (2nd), 5 years (3rd), etc. He will have them living in tents in the desert, wearing pink undies, eating balogna sandwiches and working on chain gangs. Add to that taxing U. S. employers of illegals $10,000 per illegal. Let the IRS do its thing collecting the fines. Problem solved.

Wind Power Addiction?

NUTNFINR3 Wrote: Jul 23, 2010 10:00 AM
How about we access a new source of energy? One that in inexhaustable, clean, easy to acess, reliable (as wind and solar are not). Put turbines deep in the Gulf Stream and other ocean curents to generate enough electricity to supply our electrical energy needs to infinity. Do away with coal, oil and natural gas generation. While this is happening, develop non-food sources of biodiesel to replace petroleum fuels for transportation. The cheap electricity from the ocean will make the production of biodiesel economically feasible. Why doesn't the Dept of Energy support the development of the technology to do this? We can expect some eco nuts to resist this effort so they can save the one-eyed, left handed clam, but we can overcome that...
