Any system, regardless of it's intended purpose can and will be taken advantage of. Yes, military members get certain perks. Are these programs abused? More than you might know. I was a military member and I've seen more fraud, waste and abuse than people can imagine. How do you square that with getting something for nothing (entitlement)? The military member gives up his or her personal freedom to protect our country, these programs set up through the DOD and the VA and are benefits due to them. That said, they are abused, which should show to everyone that there is nothing that can't be taken advantage of when government offers it.
What about the Farm Programs?
