The Geopolitics of Immigration

The best wall would be made of paper, in the form of temporary work permits and a healthy immigration policy. That would put all the workers at border-crossing checkpoints, and those crossing for nefarious purposes wouldn't have crowds to hide in as they seek to cross without inspection. It would make law-enforcement far easier.
Christianity walked right into this trap. The First Vatican Council in 1868 resulted in the Catholic doctrine of Papal Infallibility. The only appropriate Protestant response was to declare that the Bible and the Bible alone is infallible. The people God gave the creation story to were people who thought it was a good idea to worship statues of farm animals. These were not people who would have taken well to a lecture on molecular genetics. Jesus said believe in him, not all of Hebrew lore. The opening chapters of Acts, Paul & others specifically rejected the notion that people have to become Jews before they could become Christians, so why are we clinging to the Hebrew creation story?
