HOMOSEXUALITY... NOT SO COMPLEX (after all it is not rooted in "choice" but in genetics) It is a sex disorder that afflicts but 3% of humanity regardless of culture and history. No society report and different percentage such as 10%, 30%, etc. Homosexual impulse is rooted in genetics and is no more a "choice" for thos so afflicted than is heterosexuality for those not.

I had two gay brothers-in-law and met over two hundred of their friends (back in the days of the 'closet') and they mostly subscribed to having a personality disorder. I saw no reason to doubt that.

Their genetic driven biological malady termed homosexualism could easily be explained by those afficted as being but a personality disorder. The result of homosexuality is oftentimes just that but such is not the cause... but instead is effect.

Dr. Simon LeVay said: “It’s important to stress what I didn’t find. I did not prove that homosexuality is genetic, or find a genetic cause for being gay. I didn’t show that gay men are born that way, the most common mistake people make in interpreting my work. Nor did I locate a gay center in the brain.” Dr. Dean Hamer said, "There is not a single master gene that makes people gay.” Dean Byrd, Shirley Cox and Jeffrey Robinson, “Homosexuality: The Innate-Immutability Argument Finds No Basis in Science,” The Salt LakeTribune, (2001, 27 May). Sybil,

I'm not sure about 3%, I think it's even lower than that. But I do think it goes beyond culture or choice.

I'm good friends with a family of devout Catholics. The two sisters that I'm friends with are completely heterosexual. But they have two brothers that are declared homosexuals, one sister in a long-term relationship with a woman, and one brother who is too shy to even deal with most humans, so who knows?
That's from one family of three girls and four boys. So, statiscally speaking, that's way out of whack.

At any one time, approximately 2-3 percent of Americans engage in same-sex behavior. However, it is very fluid, and people switch frequently. A fairly high percentage of women identifying as homosexual had also had sex with men.

In addition to pushing to redefine marriage in different states around the country, homosexual activists have spent the last year or two pushing for censorship of free speech under the guise of “anti-bullying” campaigns.

There is a serious problem with the very idea of “anti-bullying” campaigns which often culminate in legislation or policies geared specifically toward protecting those who say they are homosexual from criticism or offense. These laws routinely violate the First Amendment because they not only restrict some free speech but create a double standard which allows offensive and demeaning criticism of groups that aren’t protected by the...
