"the sex of the pregnancy". Interesting phrase that Planned Parenthood worker uses. Can't call it a baby. Not even fetus. Keep it abstract.

Under common law, if you cause another to be in a state of need, you are responsible to make the other whole. That is the case for both parents causing the state of need for the baby, from conception until they can support themselves. Under common law you are nor obligated to help another if you did not cause the harm or need, even if the other is in mortal danger. That is the case of the mother (not father) in rape. This provides common law justification for abortion for those relatively rare rape pregnancies.

I was a slave for 18 years while I was forced to carry my child. It took a toll on my body. Help, help I'm being oppressed!

What if productivity increased 5-fold? (not unreasonable with capitalism) Then a younger generation could support an older generation 4 times as large & be as well off as before.

"Every child a wanted child." So if mama doesn't want a daughter: kill the baby girl. (Before she's born, to keep it legal.)
"ripped untimely from their mothers wombs"?

Elizabeth Warren Is Not a Dumb Blonde

If Warren has 1 pint of red blood cells and 31 pints of white blood cells, she would have: 31 times as much white as red blood cells, but 32 pints of blood cells total. 1/32 = 1 / (31+1) red 31/32 = 31 / (31+1) white. So: hvogel is right. Saunders, bless her heart, is wrong. but: shubi_ nailed it : OCD. This whole thing is hilarious. For us OCDers.

McGovern would have 4 times as much money ans hvogel. A "three" never enters the picture. But a "five"does: 4/5 of total money would be McGovern money. hvogal would have 1/4 as much money as McGovern ; 1/5 of the total. If I had 1 golf ball & 4 tennis balls, I would have 4 times as many tennis balls as golf balls. 4/5 golf, 1/5 tennis. If I had 1 cup of red blood cells and 31 cups of white blood cells, I would have 31 times as much white as red blood cells, but 32 cups of blood total. 1/32 = 1 / (31+1) red 31/32 = 31 / (31+1) white. I love dogs. I admire dogs. They bring me great joy. I have lots of stories. I miss every dog I ever owned. I appreciate Barkoukis's article. But this senate bill (click on "challenged" link) is silly.

My point is that, although it might make perfect sense for an individual to invest in home ownership, as a NATIONAL POLICY, promoting home ownership has encouraged money away from capital investments where the true productivity lies.
