My husband said the same thing. Basically he would be glad to give up some of his salary if it makes Obama take his own medicine. If sequester was so horrible why in the world did Obama sign into law? If the sequester was so horrible why did Obama vow to veto the bill if it contained any changes? And then the guy has the cojones to stand up and play the blame game with the lame stream media always at his back.

I would like to see Obama's bluff called. He has said there will be layoffs of cops, firefighters, and teachers. So let it happen, if it will. Let the sequestration begin and we'll see how many cops and firefighters get sent home.

And let's not forget those 800,000 Defense Dept employees Panetta said he would have to fire...

Because he felt certain that he could use them to make the Republicans look bad, and win another round of concessions.

For listeners of my radio show, you’ll know that most Fridays we do a segment called Ezra Klein is an Idiot. We don’t just call out the fallacies of Klein during the segment, however. We include liberals like Al Sharpton and John Boehner too, who both recently bemoaned the effects of sequester on our economy.

Our real problems of course aren’t the dramatic and manufactured small things like sequester or the “fiscal cliff” that are made up by Washington wonks to keep the gravy train rolling. They are much more complex, and more dangerous.
