Entrepreneurship Helps Make America Great

While I do agree wholeheartedly with Stossel's essential belief that the entrepreneurial spirit is what has made our country great, as someone who just spent the last 4 months working on a project to try to get a business accelerator launched in my town, Mr. Stossel is terribly uninformed or in denial about the real entrepreneurial landscape in this day and age. The barriers for entrepreneurial individuals to make the leap from innovative concept to profitable business is mind boggling. True innovation requires a LOT of investment, time and support. Unless you're already a rich kid, with daddy's company and network at your disposal. In fact, many scientific Ents are now going to China to launch their ideas because there is less red tape...
