Lowering CAPITAL GAINS taxes after a period when they have been VERY HIGH causes people to cash in lots of trades that have been hanging out there. However, they next year and the next those sales aren't THERE anymore. sorry, Charlie. Rush was screaming for a lower rate on property taxes awhile back, insisting that revenues would skyrocket. HOW?? Eh?? there MIGHT be a small increase in building homes, but 99 percent of property taxes are on already existing homes. THIMK.

The questioning on this court makes one thing plain. BOTH sides are aware of the total power deciding one way here grants to the Federal govt. Therefore, WHEN, not if, they decide to uphold this travesty the government of which they are the ultimate and supreme rulers in no longer my government. No, the founders never made a worse choice of words than when they named this court. Yes, it was not intended to be Supreme in any sense other than in relation to the lower courts.
