My Apology to Mormon Readers

When tearing down Mormons becomes more important than fixing the economy, fighting for our rights, and preserving a strong nation, there is a serious problem. Say what you like about them, but they're generally good folk and tend to be very dedicated conservatives. Someone needs to tell Mike to chill and perhaps take a relaxing vacation to help get a little perspective.

Oh, I think I'll be able to sleep at night just fine without your infomercial. Take it somewhere else.
What exactly does this have to do with the subject at hand?
Please take your annoying infomercial elsewhere.
PA's and NP's are great within their scope of practice, but even if they were used to supplement doctors in increased numbers, that would still leave a huge deficit and it would not fix the real problem: we need more qualified doctors. Importing them would not be a good idea either, as most countries medical doctors graduate with a bachelors of medicine, not a MD or DO degree.
Or perhaps simply "biological retirement."
The downgrade occurred because of the government's spending habits, extraordinarily poor financial choices and no change in either for the foreseeable future. This lead to less confidence in the United States Government as an investment. It's as simple as that. There is no way to tax our way out of this problem. It is a mathematical impossibility. Uncle Sam must live on less that what he takes in.
You're an idiot if you think your ten-second infomercial is working. Try reading the article, then make a comment based on it, not hawking your get-rich-at-home scheme.
We all participate in holidays that are part of our cultural tradition that may not be part of our faith or philosophy. I'm not Irish or Catholic, but I enjoy St. Patrick Day and Valentine's Day. Halloween is pretty cool, and lots of people participate who don't believe in the traditions that created it. Christmas is a cultural tradition of great significance, quite apart from it's obvious religious roots, and you don't have to be Christian to recognize the worth of "Peace on Earth, Goodwill Towards Men". This is an agenda different than "we just want fairness". This is part of the strategy of deliberate and calculated removal of anything with so much as a whiff of religion from public discourse altogether. The motives may be argued,...
The 'white man' in this country fought and died in a civil war to remove the slavery that was part of its heritage. Rev. Lowery's thinking has ossified until it is incapable of seeing anything but black/white. He would include a family of farmers in Montana that immigrated from Scandinavia in 1972, and participated in none of the discrimination he speaks of. But they're guilty because...they're white. If all thought like Lowrey, then only violence and hatred is in our future. Makes me wonder how many of Jesus Christ's teachings he's jettisoned in his righteous indignation. That's assuming he still considers himself 'Christian'.
