Mr. Blackwell is a fine writer and columnist, but I have to disagree with him on this one. At the risk of sounding "racist", his black pathology steps in as one reason to keep the present dysfunctional (and partly illegal) government leviatnan going, It's time for Mr. Blackwell to "leave the plantation". Mr. Blackwell should be educated enough to understand the U. S. Declaration of Independence and Constitution . . . when governments get oppressive, it is the DUTY of the citizenry to "make it right" utilizing ANY MEANS NECESSARY. No one wants violence, but "when push comes to shove" and all other methods are exhausted, revolution is the only way . . .

Congressman Ron Paul has just delivered his valedictory address in the House of Representatives. And he has told TV interviewers that the American Revolution was a wonderful example of secession. He's a much better OB/GYN, I'm sure, than he is a student of America's history. He could be cited for political malpractice.

If the Founding Fathers and the Patriots who fought and won the Revolution were seceding, why is it that none of them ever called it secession? They certainly had the word back then. They invoked the well-known right of revolution. They had read their John Locke and their Montesquieu,...
