Rampage Shootings: It's the Moral Decay of Society, not Guns

One important aspect of these mass murders is being overlooked. From Columbine to our present horrific situation, psychotropic drugs have been a part of the equation. The drug manufacturer's own literature admits that psychosis can occur in young adults that are taking these "medications". All too often boys are subjected to chemical "mind control" to satisfy the whims of their teachers (and to make boys more "compliant"). The drug connection to these murderers cannot be overlooked.

I'd like to see profiling on these killers - Sandy Hook, Columbine, VA Tech, Aurora CO. I bet prescription medications are the common link. One of the Columbine killers had been prescribed Luvox, an SSRI. SSRI's are linked to suicidal & homicidal behaviors. American kids spend their childhood on Ritalin (an amphetamine) because they're diagnosed as "ADHD," then transition to anti-depressants when they're older. We've created these homicidal maniacs because we want a quick fix to our problems. Instead of taking the time to discover that our kids are having a reaction to artificial food additives that are producing "ADHD symptoms," or teaching them how to understand & handle emotions, we reach for the quick fix - which is not a fix at all.

The surge has nothing to do with guns, which have been widely available in the U.S. for years. Gun control laws have been increasing. Instead, there is a direct correlation between the increase in violence and the gradual degradation of morals, ethics and parenting. We are cultivating mental illness in our society.

Parents are allowing television and video games to increasingly babysit their children, even though both have become full of gratuitous violence. A New...
