It was the 14th amendment that finally freed the slaves . . .
The Proclamation that freed the slaves DID NOT free the slaves in the North--only in the "contested states" in the South. The slaves in the north were still bound . . .
Anyone with a sound mind knows that this executive branch cannot be trusted. It took me jumping through many hoops to receive my DOD "SECRET" security clearance unlike the o'bama. As an ordinary civilian, it would not be possible for the o'bama to qualify for any type of DOD security clearance with his questionable past. In order to procure any type of security clearance, he would have been REQUIRED to provide the information that he has spent millions of dollars to keep under cover. I wonder if he were required to fill out a standard form SF-86 to qualify for federal employment

By your line of reasoning, the First amendment would only be applicable to those who utilized Ben Franklin types of printing presses. No, modern offset printing, television, radio or internet would not be covered under First amendment protections under your line of reasoning. The Constitution is NOT a living document. It means just what it says . . .
Two words come to mind . . . "civil disobedience". A number of years ago Canada tried to implement a (re)registration scheme for firearms. After two or three "extensions" to allow "compliance", they finally gave up.
The baby boomer generation may be the worst generation in American history, BUT, let's not lump Vietnam veterans in with them. While Vietnam veterans were serving their country, the spoiled rich kids were on college campuses protesting the war in Vietnam as well as causing general havoc. Mind you, they had no concern for the Vietnamese, but were protesting to "save their own skins" from the draft and military service. Once the draft was abandoned, the protests stopped. It is interesting to note that there are many "fake" Vietnam veterans out there--former protestors that are sorry that they "missed out" . . .
Any parents that send their children to "public (indoctrination) schools" is guilty of child abuse . . .
"OUR" country has been co-opted by the communists without firing a shot. "Uncle" Joe Stalin had it right . . . " those who cast the ballots mean nothing--those who COUNT the ballots mean everything" . . .

Nullification at the state level would work . . . stop taking "federal funds", fully inform juries of their ultimate power to judge laws as well as facts . . . this is the only way . . .
It's time for the states to "grow a pair" and utilize nullification and inform juries of their ultimate right to judge the law as well as the offense. I for one will REFUSE to convict anyone of an unconstitutional "crime" be it federal, state or local. It us up to each individual juror to determine if a law is constitutional. States can refuse to take federal funds and inform federal officers that they will be arrested if they set foot in their state. The Ninth and Tenth Amendments to the Constitution still apply. It's time for the states to take action.
