If we "make all things equal", then we end up with a communist society. You know, like the (former) Soviet Union, the (former) East Germany, the (former) Hungary, the (former) Romania, the (former) Poland, the (current) Cuba, the (current) North Korea, etc. There are good reasons for all the "formers" - mostly because they didn't work. And the "currents" are really good examples to aspire to, correct?

The Never Land Mosque

If Ground Zero means the exact footprint of the original Twin Towers, you are correct. If, however, Ground Zero means "witin the immediate vicinity" of the original Twin Towers, then you are a liar. And if you are going to try to weasel out by saying "It's not a Mosque, it's a cultural center", sorry , that doesn't fly either, because the people putting up the "structure" refer to it as a mosque (which, as I understand it, can mean any area reserved for prayer, so no matter how you look at it you are wrong on this. And this statement is why I believe you are one of many paid shills of the DNC, charging by the post to try to score points against particularly troublesome right-wingers such as Prof. Adams.. That rhetoric about "there...
was not a Republican.

He was originally a Democrat, changed to the National Union Party in 1864, and when he tried to run in 1868, he tried to come back as a Democrat.

So please either try to tell the truth, or just stop posting your drivel on this site.
Just thank God that Carter only boycotted the Summer Olympics that year, otherwise we would have missed out on one of the biggest events in sports history - the "Miracle on Ice" as the American college kids beat the Soviet professionals and went on to win the Gold in ice hockey.

And because the game never would have been played, we wouldn't even have know what we had missed (sounds like a Science Fiction movie plot).

On top of all the problems with economic and foreign affairs that Carter put us through, of course.
Ms. Kelly,

I turned 60 several weeks ago (boy, do I hate admitting that!). I was born and raised in Connecticut.

When I went to school in the 50s, both "potato" and "tomato" were spelled with an "e" at the end. So maybe it was a regional thing, or maybe grammatical rules simply changed over the years (for example, the use of hyphenated words has actually been banned by certain Federal agencies).

But Quayle did not misspell "potatoe". The punk reporters didn't know what they were talking about, and refused to admit they were wrong when people like me pointed it out.

You said: "If you want to be a righteous Christian, do so quitely and spare the rest of us all the sanctimoney".

You are indeed an idiot.

Adam's column is the equivalent of his home. He has written this column and invited you to read it. You did not have to accept his invitation. Since he has also solicited your opinion, if you don't like his article, if you disagree with it, fine, that's your right.

But you don't go into a man's house and basically tell him to keep his mouth shut in his own home. You do NOT have the right to suppress his speech or his opinions in his own house. If you don't like what he says, don't accept his invitation next time.

Forgetting Sarah Palin

Retired Geek:

Thanks for the links. I had seen these clips before, but had lost track of them. They are now bookmarked.

These things are painful to watch, as much as I dislike 0bama. But I remember some other things, such as his Memorial Day speech where he said "We are here to honor our Fallen Heroes, and I see some in the back of the room".

Hope you had a happy Fourth of Third (if you didn't catch it, 0bama wished the Mexicans a happy "Cinco de Quattro", which means "Fifth of Forth").

As for Gov. Palin, she can do whatever she wishes, she is (as they used to say down here in the Confederacy) "Free, white, and 21" (hope that outdate saying doesn't offend anyone, unless you're a liberal Democrat, in which...
"Congress shall make no law ... prohibiting the free exercise [of religion]..."

That tells me all I need to know about the subject.

Unfortunately, not being too religious, and never having studied the Bible (I was brought up Catholic, and we just didn't do that), I can't think of any Biblical sayings to close my message with.
Don't forget the 450,000 Cash for Clunkers cars that were sold would have had no 0bama stickers on them. That's the only reason you see fewer 0bama stickers on the road.

You can expect to hear Robert Gibbs come up with this explanation if he is ever confronted with this question.

Also, Cash for Clunkers took place during summer school break. If it had been during the school year, I'm sure there would have been class assignments to design pro-0bama stickers to be handed out with the CFC cars.

Apparently gets paid by-the-word by the DNC for his nonsensical rants.

Either that, or he has been dropping a little too much acid lately.

Either way, he is not someone whose opinions are worth wasting time over.
